Candle Care Guide

Follow these general candle care steps for a gorgeous burn every time:

✿ Always trim your wick to 1/4th inch before each light. Trimming wicks provides an even burning, longer lasting candle, which ultimately saves you money.

✿ The first time you light a candle, burn it long enough for the melt pool to reach the sides of the jar before extinguishing. This ensures an even burn for the life of your candle and prevents tunneling.

✿ For pillar candles, do the opposite as above, and burn until the melt pool is almost to the edge before extinguishing. This promotes tunneling in freeform candles and prevents drips.

✿ Only burn candles on level, heat resistant surfaces. Keep your candles away from drafts, children, and pets.

✿ Never pick up a burning candle or leave a candle unattended.

✿ For longest burn life, burn your candle for 1-2 hours each time. Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.

✿ Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains. If you do not discontinue use at 1/2 inch, the jar may become too hot.

✿ Keep flower designs out of direct sunlight for the longest floral pigment duration.
