Follow these general candle care steps for a gorgeous burn every time:
✿ Always keep your cotton wicks trimmed to 1/4th inch before each light. Trimming wicks provides an even burning, longer lasting candle, ultimately saving you money.
✿ The first time you light a jar candle, burn it long enough for the melt pool to reach the sides of the jar before you blow it out. This ensures an even burn for the life of your candle, and prevents tunneling. For a pillar candle, burn it until the melt pool almost reaches the edge, then extinguish to promote tunneling and prevent wax spillage.
✿ Only burn candles on level, heat resistant surfaces. Keep your candles away from drafts, children, and pets.
✿ Never pick up a burning candle or leave a candle unattended.
✿ For the longest burn life, burn your candle for 2 hours each time. Never burn a candle for longer than 4 hours.
✿ Discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains. If you do not discontinue use at 1/2 inch, the jar may become too hot.
✿ Keep flower designs out of the sun for the longest floral pigment duration.
